noted, the MT ET drag radials are by far the best drag racing radia tire. They are similar in traction to the ET Streets (which have a 2 ply sidewall, but less aggressive compound). As you stated, if you drop the clutch at high RPMs with the street clutch, it won't last long.....so you are going to need some tire slip to let your clutch live. You might want to go with the Nitto drag radials, as you won't overpower the clutch with excess traction, as they will spin some with a higher rev launch. The BFG drag radials are also sticky, and might present problems for your clutch. If you launch at lower RPMs and pedal your clutch, with the better tires (MTs or BFGs) you are in danger of glazing it and yet again toasting it. If you go to the RPS 6 puck disk, you could use the ET drags. If you keep your street disk, you might want to give up some launching ability so you will have a clutch that lives (go with the Nittos).
